“This residency has helped me relook at the conceptual foundations of my work and has helped me to interact with the local community of artists, art students, scholars, and the general public in interesting and fruitful ways.” 

 

The residency was from February 10, 2015, to March 10, 2015, with an Open House Day on March 23, 2015 where the artist's works were displayed.

About the artist

Born on 8th May, 1987 at Baleswar District in the state of Odisha, Samarjeet Behera earned his MFA degree from University of Hyderabad, Telangana. By far he has participated in several art exhibitions, workshops and seminars in India. His project titled "Insert 2014" was selected by the Inlaks foundation.
