Penance - Solo Project by Jeetander Ojha

June 21, 2015 I Utsha Foundation For Contemporary Art, VR-39, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

“My works are not answering; rather these are the questions on cosmopolitan culture, where we are losing our tradition and values at the same time. Modernity eats into our tradition and identity. My works express the cross roads on which we have to decide whether we have to go back or move forward. The new cannot be denied but in my opinion accepting new things with consciousness is always fruitful as long as we do not let go of our roots and identities.”
