In the artist's words, “the idea of the project is to strike a thought in the mind of people to make them realize the gravity behind today's deteriorating environmental condition which will make itself evident in the coming times. And the question is, why is this plastic unnecessarily and unwillingly being served to us?” 

 

About the artist

Manveer Singh earned his graduation and post graduation in Fine Arts from College of Art, New Delhi in 2014, 2016 respectively.“Even as I am working thematically on the politics of the urban space, and contexts of development, there is a refusal to work within the context of History. Instead, I choose to engage with the city through my lived experience and the physical, psychological discomforts I experience as the city is being reshaped to embody and propagate certain notions of development.” Artist continues to live and work in New Delhi.
