Directors: Amartya Bhattacharya and Mainik Ghosh

Niloye Jokhon is a 2012 Bengali short film on the theme of every individual’s infinite quest for a place they can call home; a home is where one feels at home, and that not necessarily be a place one possesses. It is about a comfort zone not confined within the four walls of the room. Woven wonderfully and aptly in lyrical verses of Bengali poet Jeebananand Das and director Amartya Bhattacharyas’s own poetry, the film stands out as a brilliant fusion of literature, art and filmmaking techniques.
