Utsha organised a week-long workshop on printmaking with master printmaker Ramahari Jena. It included learning history and the process of printmaking including the theory of intaglio, lithograph, planography , serigraphy and relief painting techniques. 

 

8 participants joined us for this intense week-long workshop and were guided through the theory and practice of printmaking by Shri Ramahari Jena. The intensity of the workshop was such that lino cut was properly executed by the participants with an overview of wood cut taught. Over 16 prints were executed successfully and are now part of a portfolio in the Utsha collection. Successful participants were presented with a certificate of recognition by Shri Ramahari Jena for their efforts.
